Australian Education System is very well advanced, and the government fully supports it. Starting from Kindergarten up to Secondary, the performance and curriculum of each school in Australia may vary, though they are all following the same system, structure and learning areas.
The government of each state manages their school system and provides funding for them. Each state in Australia has both public and private schools, in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane or other cities.

International students can apply to both Public or Private Schools (including high schools across Australia) as long as they have a valid visa.

  • Duration: from Kindergarden – Year 12
  • Cost: A$6,000 – $15,000/annum
  • Entry Requirement:  student has to submit his most recent school marks for the previous years of study. Also, the student must have a nominated guardian in Australia as long as he is under 18.
  • Visa: student must have visa subclass 571 to be able to study at school. The applicant must meet the eligibility requirements for this visa, such as the GTE requirements and the financial requirements.  For further information, please visit
